The Amistad Hotel benefits from a perfect central location, making it easy to explore Amsterdam on foot, with Albert Heijn grocery stores conveniently nearby. Many guests appreciate the breakfast, especially the omelettes and pancakes cooked to order, with 24/7 access to a coffee/tea machine also a plus. The building, a typical Amsterdam canal house, has charm and character. While rooms are not very spacious, they are generally clean and well-maintained, though some guests have noted the limited choice of sweets at breakfast.

central locationstreet noisemosquito problem
The location was central, within walking distance to many attractions. I found breakfast to be nice.
The room was quite noisy at night. I could hear everything happening on the street, even with the windows closed. There was also no air conditioning, and with the window open, mosquitoes became a problem (a real annoyance).
